For any payments that you want to make towards your ILP adventure, you can do so online! You'll just need to register your account first, but don't worry — it's super quick and easy (takes about 2 mins). We have step-by-step directions below if you need any help.
Do your parents want to make some of your payments? Great! They can either call our office and make a payment over the phone (801-374-8854), or you can share your login information with them! They'll just log in to your account (instead of making their own) to make a payment. We like this method because when they log in (later on when payments are due) they'll be able to see what's already been paid and what's coming up. And in case they ask, yes — all of their payments this way are tax-deductible.
Do you have friends or family that want to make donations? Also great! Just share this link with them — they can make a donation there that will go toward your program fee (it's public so they don't need to create an account or log in).
You should receive an email a day or so after submitting your application to ILP with the subject line "Pay & View Your bills from ILP / McKee School Online". This is an invitation to register your account so that you'll be enrolled and have access to make your ILP payments online (like the app fee, the deposit that's due to get your official assignment, program fee payments, etc). Even if you don't have any payments due yet, we like the idea of registering your account now because it will speed things along for you later on when you're getting your country + group assignment!
We're planning to send you this email the day after you submit your online application (or the following Monday if you're applying over the weekend), so it may be that you just need to wait a bit for it! If it's been a few days and you're still not seeing it, just let us know and we're happy send it over. Click on the chat box in the bottom corner of your screen, or email office@ilp.org.

That link will take you to our online payment site, to a page where you can set up your account real quick! Just follow the directions, it's pretty self explanatory here.
After you click the 'Create Account' button, it will also have you pick out an image and caption just so that you know your personalized account is secure when you login next time.
Since we haven't created any invoices for you yet there isn't much to see here. If you are making a payment, you can move on to the next step. Otherwise that's all for today!
If you're making your first payment today, that's also really quick and easy to do! Once you've created your account and are logged in, you'll see this home screen.
Just click "make a payment".
Oh and just a quick, really important note — don't sign up for Auto Pay using the button on this page's menu. We do actually have an Auto Pay option that a lot of volunteers use, but just let us know in Orientation that you're interested in that plan (it's called Monthly Auto Pay), and we'll get you enrolled in that way (or text your rep).
If you're paying your app fee today, then you'll just enter $30 into the Additional Payment box. It will then automatically put $30 into the green box below to show the amount you're paying.
You can also leave a note to let us know what your payment is for!
The cool thing about paying via E-check (also known as ACH) directly from your bank account is that it's free! There's a fee when you pay with a card, so this option is going to save you some cash.
*Paying via E-check is only available for US bank accounts. You'll need to provide your account and routing numbers to process this type of payment. Hey Canadian volunteers — it's actually really easy to set up a US bank account even while you're in Canada, so that might be worth it since you'll easily save $100-200 in those surcharge fees. We wrote a whole post about how to do it if you're interested!
Good to know: Our payment system will allow you to pay via your either checking or savings account if you want to, but we always recommend your checking. Some banks don't allow you to pay from your savings (and it might result in a bank fee), so unless you talk to them about it first your checking account is just the safer way to go.
You can also pay with a card. There is a 3% surcharge fee that will be added on to your total payment.
Your payment is processed immediately, but it can depend on your bank as far as how long it takes until you see it (could be right away, or potentially up to 5-ish business days).
