Open to residents of North America who meet the requirements to be accepted as an ILP volunteer for the Summer 2025 semester. Contest winner(s) will be chosen by ILP using a randomizing application for each entry.
Qualified giveaway participants will be entered to win a Summer 2025 ILP semester abroad and receive a $250 credit to their program fee for the Summer 2025 semester. Discount will be applied as the final portion of the program fee after all other payments are due (if any). To qualify for the $250 discount and to be entered to win the semester abroad, you must meet one of the following:
1. New applicants — Enter the giveaway, complete your Summer 2025 ILP application and be accepted and receive an assignment in any available country for the Summer 2025 semester. ILP alumni and current 2025 volunteers may qualify as new applicants if they are not accepted for an upcoming semester by August 1, 2024.
2. Current Summer 2025 applicants who were accepted August 1, 2024 and earlier — Refer a friend: To qualify, your friend must enter the giveaway, list your name on their entry form as the friend that referred them, complete their ILP application for the Summer 2025 semester and be accepted.
3. Current applicants of future semesters who submitted their application before August 1, 2024 — You may switch from a future ILP semester and accept a position in any available country in the Summer 2025 semester to qualify. You must send a written request to ILP to change your semester to Summer 2025 by September 1, 2024. If you choose to cancel or switch back to your original semester, standard Summer 2025 cancellation/deferral fees apply.
Summer 2025 semester abroad winner(s) — One winner will receive up to a $3,970 program fee credit toward any available country of their choice for the Summer 2025 semester. If the winner designated a "friend" with whom they would like to win the giveaway with on their entry form, that "friend", known as the second winner, will also receive up to a $3,970 program fee credit toward any available country of their choice for the Summer 2025 semester. The entry form allows for listing up to three friends — the winner will choose which of the three friends will be the second winner. The second winner must have also entered the giveaway and meet the requirements to be accepted as an ILP volunteer for the Summer 2024 semester to qualify. If the first winner did not designate a "friend" on their entry form, a second winner will not be chosen.
Program winners must apply for the program, qualify, and be accepted to participate in the program. ILP reserves the right not to accept any applicant based on application, past ILP experience, or any other factors ILP in good faith deems important.
Prize has no cash value and will not be refunded, credited, or applied in the case that the winner does not apply for the program, is not accepted, or cancels after being accepted. If winners participate in a location with a program fee costing less than $3,970, program fee will be credited in full for the cost of that program and will forfeit the difference from the remaining $3,970 credit. Prize credit will be applied as the final portion of the program fee after all other payments are due (if any).
Giveaway entry must be submitted by September 30, 2024 to qualify. The winner(s) will be randomly drawn, announced, and notified by October 4, 2024. Winner(s) must accept prize by October 23, 2024 or prize will be withdrawn. Prizes are non-transferrable, non-refundable, and have no cash value. Discounts may not be combined with other promotional offers unless otherwise stated. No purchase necessary to win. You may also enter by sending a postcard to 508 E. 800 North 3D, Orem, UT 84097 with your name and address and phone number. Postcard must be received by contest deadline to qualify.
