Open to residents of North America who meet the requirements to be accepted as an ILP volunteer for the Summer 2024 semester. Contest winner(s) will be chosen by ILP using a randomizing application for each entry.
Qualified giveaway participants will be entered to win a Summer 2024 ILP semester abroad to Mexico. All qualifying entrants will receive a $100 credit to their program fee for the Summer 2024 semester in any available country. Discount will be applied as the final portion of the program fee after all other payments are due (if any).
To qualify for the $100 discount and to be entered to win the semester abroad, you must:
1. Enter the giveaway by completing a submission on the entry form by 4/17/24. You can list up to 3 friends to win a trip with you, and that friend must also enter to win.
2. Meet one of the following:
a) Apply for your Summer 2024 trip: Start your application between 7 pm MST March 15, 2024 and midnight MST April 17, 2024. If you’ve already started an application before March 15, 2024, you must complete your application by midnight MST April 17, 2024.
b) Complete your documents for your Summer 2024 trip: If you've already received your acceptance letter as a volunteer for the Summer 2024 trips, you can qualify by completing all of the documents required to receive your assignment by midnight MST April 17, 2024.
c) Add Mexico to your country preference list: If you've already completed the documents required to receive your assignment and are "Ready To Assign (RTA)" or have been put on a waitlist, you may qualify by adding Mexico to your country preference list by midnight MST April 17, 2024. Just email office@ilp.org to do complete that.
Summer 2024 Mexico semester abroad winner(s) — One winner will receive up to a program fee credit toward a semester abroad in Mexico Summer 2024 valued at $2,670. If the winner designated a "friend" with whom they would like to win the giveaway with on their entry form, that "friend", known as the second winner, will also receive a program fee credit toward a semester abroad in Mexico Summer 2024, valued at $2,670.
The entry form allows for listing up to three friends — the winner will choose which of the three friends will be the second winner. The second winner must have also entered the giveaway and meet the requirements to be accepted as an ILP volunteer for the Summer 2024 semester to qualify. If the first winner did not designate a "friend" on their entry form, a second winner will not be chosen.
Program winners must apply for the program, qualify, and be accepted to participate in the program. ILP reserves the right not to accept any applicant based on application, past ILP experience, or any other factors ILP in good faith deems important.
Prize has no cash value and will not be refunded, credited, or applied in the case that the winner does not apply for the program, is not accepted, or cancels after being accepted.
Giveaway entry must be submitted by midnight MST, April 17, 2024 to qualify. The winner(s) will be randomly drawn, announced, and notified by April 19, 2024. Winner(s) must accept prize by April 26, 2024 at noon MST, or prize will be withdrawn. Prizes are non-transferrable, non-refundable, and have no cash value. Discounts may not be combined with other promotional offers unless otherwise stated. No purchase necessary to win. You may also enter by sending a postcard to 508 E. 800 North 3D, Orem, UT 84097 with your name and address and phone number. Postcard must be received by contest deadline to qualify.
